Black Flamenco Network | Flamencos Unidos Africanos y Afro Descendientes (BFN/FUAAD) is a global network of Black Flamenco artists, scholars, professionals, students and members of the community dedicated to dismantling the challenges, discrimination, and barriers to inclusion within the Flamenco industry whilst nurturing and facilitating the professional development.

BFN/FUAAD focuses on those who identify as Black, African, and those worldwide who identify as descendants of Black or African peoples. We acknowledge the diversity within the black community, including those of intersectional identities and seek to build a network which is safe and supportive for all.

BFN/FUAAD was founded online in 2020 by a small group of flamenco artists during the global pandemic. Since then, we have expanded to include members from Colombia, Brazil, Uganda, Canada, UK, USA, Denmark, Spain, and France.
